Report Job Aids

Managers have access to reports that will enable them to gather data on their direct and indirect reports. These reports are used to answer common training related questions. It is recommended that managers view the Manager Breeze Presentation for a detailed description of running reports. In addition, the manager reporting basics page outlines the basic information needed to run reports.

Questions Manager Reports can answer:

The following is a list of common training related questions.

• Safety Compliance 2008- Individuals, manager, location, departments, and rolled up to the one and two levels below the CEO.
• Course Catalog:
  • What courses are currently published?
  • What is the course description of a course someone took 4 years ago?
  • Where are courses currently scheduled for?
  • At what location are currently scheduled classes taking place?
  • What courses are mapped to which competencies?
• What are my employees Instructor-Led training commitments?
• What courses have my employees completed?
• What courses have a specific employee completed?
• What courses are my employees currently enrolled in?
• How many courses are my direct reports currently enrolled in?
• What score did my employees get on X test?
• Which of my employees are currently enrolled in X course?
• Which of my employees completed X course?
• NEW! Learning Paths (not Safety) - how many courses in learning path X have my employees done?
• NEW! Learning Paths (not Safety) - which courses in learning path X have my employees completed?
• Where can I find user information such as work location, address or email for my employees?

Safety Compliance 2008  

These are Excel spreadsheets published on the first business day of the month to track our salaried safety program. You need to be on the SE network to view this Excel spreadsheet.

Answers questions about 2008 salaried safety compliance:

• Individual compliance
• Managers roll-up compliance
• Locations
• Departments
• Rolled up data for one and two levels below the CEO

Course Catalog  

This is an Excel spreadsheet published on the first business day of the month to provide information about our current and historic course catalog. You need to be on the SE network to view this Excel spreadsheet.

Answers questions like the following:

• What courses are currently published?
• What is the course description of a course someone took 4 years ago?
• Where are courses currently scheduled to take place?
• What courses are mapped to which competencies?

SCHELEC_Manager_Enrollment_Report  

This report shows all the Instructor-Led training enrollments for all of a manager's direct reports. This report can only be run at a manager level of the manager hierarchy.

Answers questions like the following:

• What are my employees Instructor-Led training commitments?

STND_MGR_Individual_Student_Performance  

This report shows course enrollments for a manager's direct and indirect reports. It includes the course completion status on each enrollment.

Answers questions like the following:

• What courses have my employees completed?
• What courses are my employees currently enrolled in?
• What courses has a specific employee completed?

STND_MGR_Learner_Enrollments  

This report displays the number of current enrollments for each of a manager's direct reports.

Answers questions like the following:

• How many courses are my direct reports currently enrolled in?

STND_MGR_Test_Results  

This report displays test scores for the selected test(s) for a manager's direct and indirect reports.

Answers questions like the following:

• What score did my employees get on X test?

STND_MGR_User_Performance, specify course  

This report is similar to STND_MGR_Individual_Student Performance report except this report allows you to select a specific course rather than looking at all courses. This report can be run for a manager's direct and indirect reports.

Answers questions like the following:

• Which of my employees are currently enrolled in X course?
• Which of my employees completed X course?

STND_MGR_Learning_Path_Detail_Report  

This report displays Learning Path Compliance for an assigned Learning Path. For each student assigned a Learning Path, it displays how many courses are required for Learning Path completion and how many courses have been counted as completed toward that requirement.

Answers questions like the following:

How many courses have my employees completed for the assigned Learning Path?

STND_MGR_Learning_Path_Summary_Report  

This report is similar to the Learning Path Detail Report but lists each course in the Learning Path and the student's status in each. There will be a line item for each course for each person. If there are 4 courses, each student will be listed 4 times.

Answers questions like the following:

• Which specific courses within the Learning Path has each of my employees completed?

STND_MGR_User_Summary  

This report provides user profile information, such as organization (location), email address, most recent log-in date, etc. for a manager's direct reports.

Answers questions like the following:

• Where can I find user information such as work location, address or email for my employees?
