The Learning Center - HR Report Job Aids

Those individuals with HR responsibilities have access to certain reports in The Learning Center. These reports are used to answer common training related questions. WebEx sessions are held periodically, or individual assistance can be provided, to learn the basics on how to run reports in The Learning Center (reporting basics).

Questions HR Reports can answer:

The following is a list of common training related questions.

• How many hours of training has an employee completed?
• What courses has a particular employee completed?
• What courses are employee X enrolled in?
• What courses have a manager's employees completed?
• What courses have employees in location X completed?
• What students have completed X course?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - how many courses in learning path X has employee X completed?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - how many courses in learning path X have students reporting to Manager X completed?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - how many courses in learning path X have students in Senior Leader X's organization completed?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - which courses in learning path X has employee X completed?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - which courses in learning path X have students reporting to Manager X completed?
• Learning Paths (not Safety or E&SU) - which courses in learning path X have students in Senior Leader X's organization completed?

The Reports
Click the icon to the right of the report name for an XLS containing:

• Parameter instructions and examples
• Sample output of that report

SCHELEC_Training_History_By_User_Report_P  

This report shows a student's training history. You need to know a student's employee ID to run this report.

Answers questions like the following:

• What training has a particular student completed?
• What courses are employee X enrolled in?

STND_Student_Performance_by_Manager  

This report shows course completion for the selected manager's direct and indirect reports.

Answers questions like the following:

• What courses have a Manager's employees completed?

STND_User_Performance, Specify Course  

This report shows course completion by organization (location) of students between date ranges.

Answers questions like the following:

• What courses have students from an organization (location) completed?
• What students have completed X course?

STND_Learning_Path_Summary_Report  

This report displays Learning Path Compliance for an assigned Learning Path for selected employee. For selected employee assigned the Learning Path, it displays how many courses are required for Learning Path completion and how many courses have been counted as completed toward that requirement. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.

Answers questions like the following:

• Has student X completed their assigned Learning Path requirement?
• How many courses have students completed for the assigned Learning Path?

STND_Learning_Path_Summary_by_Manager_Report  

This report displays Learning Path Compliance for an assigned Learning Path for selected manager's direct and indirect reports. For each student assigned a Learning Path for the selected manager's organization, it displays how many courses are required for Learning Path completion and how many courses have been counted as completed toward that requirement. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.

Answers questions like the following:

• What students in Manager X's organization have completed (or have not completed) their assigned Learning Path requirement?
• How many courses have students completed for the assigned Learning Path?

SCHELEC_Learning_Path_Compliance_Report_S  

This report displays Learning Path Compliance for an assigned Learning Path. For each student assigned a Learning Path, it displays how many courses are required for Learning Path completion and how many courses have been counted as completed toward that requirement. The report output includes information on Senior Leader, 1 Below Senior and 2 Below Senior for each student in the report. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.

Answers questions like the following:

• How many courses have students completed for the assigned Learning Path?
• What students in Organization (location) X have completed (or have not completed) their assigned Learning Path requirement?

STND_Learning_Path_Detail_Report  

This report is similar to the Learning Path Summary Report but lists each course in the Learning Path and the student's status in each. There will be a line item for each course for the selected student. If there are 4 courses, each student will be listed 4 times. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.

Answers questions like the following:

Which specific courses within the Learning Path has employee X completed?

STND_Learning_Path_Detail_by_Manager_Report  

This report is similar to the Learning Path Summary by Manager Report but lists each course in the Learning Path for the selected manager's direct and indirect reports and each student's status in each. There will be a line item for each course for each person. If there are 4 courses, each student will be listed 4 times. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.

This report is similar to the Learning Path Compliance Report S but lists each course in the Learning Path and the student's status in each. There will be a line item for each course for each person. If there are 4 courses, each student will be listed 4 times. The report output includes information on Senior Leader, 1 Below Senior and 2 Below Senior. E&SU and Safety Learning Paths are implemented uniquely therefore require a more complicated report process.
