    Registering for Training

Q: How do I search for Courses?
A: In The Learning Center, a student can search for courses by clicking on the Catalog tab. A student can search by typing in a keyword or course code or by browsing by category or subject. An Advanced Search can be performed to include more specific information about the course such as language, learning style (scheduled or self-paced), location, or date range. The wildcard for searches is the percent (%) sign.

Q: Why can't I see all the courses in the catalog when doing a course search?
A: In the case that you have set language preferences, results will filter so that you only see courses that are set for your preferred language. To see all courses, perform an Advanced Search. Select ALL LANGUAGES in the Advanced Search.

Q: How do I request participation in a class if there is no offering listed?
A: You can request a class be scheduled if there is no offering currently available in The Learning Center. To request an offering, search for the course in the Catalog. Review all the available offerings for the course. Click on the Enroll button for the offering titled "Request a New Offering". Enrolling in the "Request a New Offering" offer notifies The Learning Center that you have requested an offering of the course to be scheduled. You will be notified when additional classes are available. At that time, you will need to enroll into the specific class that you would like to attend.

Q: How long does it take to be approved to attend a class?
A: Enrollment approval is completed by your manager. You are not enrolled in the class until your manager approves your enrollment request in The Learning Center. Once your manager approvals your enrollment request, you will be enrolled in the class.
